Cutting Diameter: 17mm
Classification: Standard (Yellow)
The Two-Flute Straight Router Bit is an indispensable tool for woodworkers and fabricators requiring a blend of
speed and superior finish in their straight-line cutting operations.
Featuring two balanced, opposing cutting edges measured in precise metric diameters, this bit offers reduced
vibration and a smoother cut compared to single-flute alternatives. The dual-flute design ensures that two cutting
strikes occur per revolution, leading to a much cleaner finish on the material surface and edges.
This robust bit is ideally suited for creating high-quality, professional grooves, dadoes, rabbets, and precise
edge-trimming in a wide range of materials, including hardwoods, softwoods, plywood, and various composite sheets,
making it a highly versatile and essential addition for both table-mounted and handheld metric routing applications.
Application:
- Router bits are for use with router machines only.
- Be sure that at least 3/4 of the shaft length is inserted into the router collet.
- Do not ‘bottom-out’ the bit in the collet. The shank should be 1/8′ from the bottom of the collet.
- Route in two or more passes when large amounts of stock must be removed.
