The set contains six short spiral wood drill bits – ø 3, 4, 5, 5, 6 and 8 mm – together with twelve commonly used 25 mm screwdriver bits covering Phillips, Pozidriv and Torx drives. Each 65 mm wood drill features a 25 mm spiral, precise centring point and two cutting edges for fast, clean holes in wood, glued solid wood, MDF and acrylic glass. Festool uses two chamfers instead of conventional pre-cutting blades to provide extended service life, including when working in laminated chipboard. The particularly short drill design makes the set ideal for restricted spaces and use with compatible angle attachments. Integrated magnets hold the drills and bits securely inside movable storage modules, and the complete cassette can be fitted into a compatible Systainer³ lid compartment or carried as a practical standalone box.
