One edge, or top and bottom edges can be moulded depending on wood thickness. Table edge router bits from Pro-Tech can be used to form deep decorative detail found on dining room, coffee or end tables, window sills, chair rails and china cabinets. With large diameter router bits best results are obtained by making several light passes, increasing depth of cut with each pass. In order to minimize burning on some woods such as cherry, maple or oak, the Router Speed Control can be used to reduce the router speed. This router bit has a 12.7 mm shank (shaft) that will fit most large routers with the correct size collet.
