Product information

Maykestag ECO Speedcut Solid Carbide Inox End Mill 6mm Professional 6mm HPC solid carbide end mill from the Maykestag ECO Speedcut Inox range, featuring a relieved neck, four-flute Type N geometry, different 39°-42° helix angles and an ALUNIT-S® coating for high-performance machining of stainless steels and other suitable engineering materials. The Maykestag Code 7187 ECO Speedcut Inox is a high-performance solid carbide end mill developed with particular emphasis on machining stainless steels. Its four cutting edges use different spiral angles to support stable cutting and help reduce vibration, while the relieved neck provides additional clearance behind the cutting section. The cutter combines HPC and MTC characteristics with a 12° cutting geometry, 45° corner chamfer and ALUNIT-S® coating for demanding CNC milling applications. What is an Inox solid carbide end mill? An Inox end mill is a milling cutter whose cutting geometry and coating are specifically suited to stainless-steel machining. Stainless steels can generate significant heat and cutting forces during machining, so a rigid carbide substrate, suitable rake geometry, controlled flute design and wear-resistant coating are important for dependable performance. The Code 7187 combines these features with four variable-helix cutting edges and a relieved neck for versatile high-performance milling. Product highlights • ECO Speedcut Inox range: High-performance milling cutter developed with particular emphasis on stainless-steel machining. • Solid carbide construction: High rigidity and wear resistance support accurate CNC machining and dependable tool life. • HPC design: Developed for high-performance cutting applications requiring productive material removal. • MTC geometry: Maykestag MTC-designated cutting geometry for versatile machining applications. • Four-flute design: Four cutting edges provide a strong, stable cutting geometry and efficient material removal. • Different helix angles: 39°-42° variable spiral geometry promotes stable cutting and helps reduce vibration. • 12° cutting geometry: Cutting-edge geometry optimised for the Code 7187 Inox range. • Relieved neck: Reduced neck diameter provides additional clearance behind the cutting section. • Type N geometry: Universal geometry suited to the range of materials indicated by Maykestag. • 45° corner chamfer: Strengthens and protects the cutting corner during demanding milling operations. • ALUNIT-S® coating: High-performance coating supports wear resistance and tool life. • DIN 6527K: Cutter dimensions according to the specified standard. • DIN 6535-HB shank: Cylindrical shank with driving flat for secure tool holding. Why Choose Maykestag? Maykestag precision cutting tools are designed around carefully specified carbide grades, cutting geometries, coatings and dimensional tolerances. These factors become particularly important when machining stainless steels, where heat generation, work hardening and cutting forces place high demands on the cutter. The Code 7187 ECO Speedcut Inox combines solid carbide construction with four variable-helix cutting edges, a relieved neck, 12° cutting geometry and ALUNIT-S® coating. Its strongest Maykestag application ratings are in stainless steels below and above 850 N/mm², making it a specialised yet versatile cutter for professional CNC machining. Designed for High-Performance Stainless Steel Milling The four-flute geometry uses different 39°-42° spiral angles to create a stable cutting action and help limit vibration during demanding milling operations. The 12° cutting geometry assists effective chip formation, while the relieved neck provides clearance behind the cutting length. Combined with solid carbide construction, a 45° corner chamfer and ALUNIT-S® coating, the Code 7187 is designed to provide controlled cutting, dimensional accuracy and dependable tool life in stainless steels and other rated engineering materials.
